The student-run Penn Course Review has served as a valuable guide for course selection since the 1960s. Penn Course Review website was built in 2010 to empower students to select the best courses. Penn Course Review provides numerical ratings for undergraduate courses and professors at the University of Pennsylvania. PCR is developed and managed by Penn Labs, a student developer organization on Penn’s campus. Though the product has been providing tremendous value to the community, the user endures substantial friction through various interactions. Furthermore, there are opportunities for various features to aid course selection. This analysis presents the findings, process, and impact of the redesign towards a seamless experience.
